Viewfield Cottage
About us

Viewfield was orginally built in the 1850s as an old smiddy. There is a
large workshop at the rear where the smiddy carried out his work for the
local farmers. The old bellows are still intact in the workshop as a fine
example of the history of the building.

The house features four bedrooms, with two twins and two doubles. Each
bedroom includes bedding (and towels if required) for the duration of your stay. There are also wardrobes and cabinets for putting your clothes in and the quiet
location is guaranteed to make sure you have a good night’s sleep
.

There is also a good sized bathroom with toilet, electric shower and bath. Outside there are plenty of places to sit in the garden with a cup of tea and read a book - time to soak in the country atmosphere.

Other facilities include a washing machine, central heating and pressure washing facilities for mountain bikers. There is also plenty of off road parking.

Where are we?
